Oklahoma's first flag
Oklahoma’s First Flag
Discontinued after the socialist revolution in Russia and the resulting “red scare”in the U.S., Oklahoma’s first flag is illegal to fly in the state! But we are not ashamed of Oklahoma’s agrarian-socialist history, and we fly the flag proudly here.

The National Lawyers Guild is dedicated to the need for basic and progressive change in the structure of our political and economic system. Through its members–lawyers, law students, jailhouse lawyers and legal workers united in chapters and committees–the Guild works locally, nationally and internationally as an effective political and social force in the service of the people.

As the Oklahoma Chapter of NLG, we are dedicated to bringing its voice to our state, and to serve Oklahoma citizens by providing information and services to promote social justice and human rights.

We are part of the Texoma region of NLG, and our members are involved at the national level on the National Executive Committee as well as on the NLG’s Military Law Task Force.

We welcome new members, whether attorneys, legal workers, jailhouse lawyers, or law students. To join, fill out the membership form(pdf) and mail to the national office address on the form.

Please note that the dues are flexible for all income levels. If you want to join and don’t have the funds, send in your form with a note and we will sponsor you.
